Just bought a book this morning on "The Best of Riddles Book" by Morrie Gallant. I find it awesome and useful for gatherings that keep someone howling with laughter! I picked up the "why" questions that suited this blog on " Do you know why". Check this out. :)

1. Why do people cry at airports?

• They're saying goodbye to their luggage.

2. Why is a spoon always in trouble?

• It stirs things up.

3. Why was the broom late for work?

• It overswept.

4. Why did the lawyer take his watch apart?

• He wanted to rest his case.

5. Why is the bald eagle thankful?

• He has no dandruff.

6. Why do you want to borrow sweet corn?

• So I can lend an ear.

• Because it has a speech defect.

8. Why did the elephant walk up 10 flights of stairs?

• The elevator was out of order.

• You would too if you slept in a pen.

• The dog couldn't go.

11. Why is the dog wearing glasses?

• Because he couldn't read the eye chart.

• So it won't wear out.

13.Why are you riding your bike in this heavy traffic?

• I'm not allowed to cross the street alone.

• It was a bad habit.

• He was on a low fat diet.

• It had a split personality.

• I don't want it to get a virus.

• The chicken was on vacation.
